Remembering God’s Action: Journal Writing as Prayer (Mary Gales Askren)

We live in difficult times – political polarization, growing intolerance and violence, climate change precipitating natural disasters.

In the midst of this, God says through his Word and through his action in our lives: Do not be afraid. Journal writing with prayer can help us to remember this and to say with the psalmist, “I will remember the works of the Lord” (Psalm 77:11). Learn ways to use journal writing with prayer to remember God’s work in your life at this one-day retreat.
