Contemplative Prayer Retreat (Fr. Thomas Leitner, OSB)

“God, you are closer to me than I am to myself and more interior than my inmost being, and yet ungraspable and beyond any name” (St. Edith Stein).

In contemplative prayer, we divest our minds of all thoughts and images in order to receive the pure and simple light of God directly into the summit of our souls. This retreat involves breath practice. It is for those who have begun the practice of non-conceptual prayer.
