BioSpiritual Focusing: Multi-Day Silent Retreat (Deborah Sheehan, MA, Jane King, MA, Marisa B. Gilbert, Margie M. Walker)


Come to the quiet . . .where noticing and receiving with openness all that is most real within can lead to greater freedom and transformation. Bless yourself with a few days to simply be present and receive insight, healing, sense of connection or whatever is most needed now. Allow yourself to be gifted by God as you open yourself to the Great Love that holds and graces all. This retreat will feature a morning gathering each day with an emphasis on deepening your understanding of biospiritual focusing as well as an opportunity for one-on-one spiritual direction each afternoon. The remainder of our time will be in silencea spacious, open place of attention and connection with God, self and others.

Deborah Sheehan, MA

Deborah Sheehan, MA, is an adjunct lecturer in the Creighton University Christian Spirituality Program, as well as an experienced spiritual director and retreat director. She has worked in a variety of settings to help young people and adults deepen their understanding of embodied spirituality, including teaching and practicing BioSpiritual Focusing for over two decades.

 

Jane King, MA

Jane King, MA, is and experienced spiritual director and retreat leader. She is an adjunct lecturer in the Creighton University Christian Spirituality Program and has been practicing and teaching Biospiritual Focusing for many years.

 

Marisa B. Gilbert directed Knowles Mercy Spirituality Center. She is experienced in education, adult formation, retreat ministry spiritual direction and BioSpiritual Focusing.

 

Margie M. Walker is a teacher, spouse, story teller, mother to six, grandma to 19, spiritual director and retreat facilitator, well practiced in BioSpiritual Focusing. Margie has been leading retreats and journeying with fellow pilgrims around the country for over 30 years.
